Alexander Medical Office Building

Castle Rock, CO

Why

Connecting through experience of place.

This medical office building is the first of four Medical Office Buildings to be located at the new Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus (CRAHC).  The design incorporates the campus and hospital architectural style.  Phase one construction at the CRAHC began in November of 2010 and includes the Emergency Department and Imaging for the future hospital.  The second phase, the four-story hospital, is complete and includes two hospital patient floors and associated departments on the remaining two floors.

How

Ever curious. Ever learning. Ever improving.

The three-story medical office building was constructed as core and shell and totals 61,800 square feet of usable space for future tenant improvements.  The building is required to meet stringent campus design standards in addition to the design standards of the property developer which include patterned stone to mimic surroundingnatural formations, an atrium to capture surrounding views anda porte-chochere to define th eentry.

What

Purposeful, engaging solutions.

A link at the first floor level directly connects the medical office building to the adjacent Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus hospital building.  The building was designed with a 2-hour rated floor assembly along with 2-hour column protection to allow flexibility for hospital and tenants.  RTA completed the design of the core and shell.
