When Envision Radiology launched in 2001, RTA partnered with the client to reimagine the patient experience at outpatient imaging centers. The goal was to facilitate professional, comfortable, prompt, and cost-effective imaging services.
Today, Envision has grown into one of the nation’s leading outpatient radiology providers, offering an extensive suite of advanced imaging services, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, 3D mammography, bone density (DEXA), CTA, MRA, MR elastography, MR enterography, cardiac scoring, and vascular ultrasound.
RTA has continued to support Envision as it has expanded, working on over 60 Envision centers across five states.

Envision Radiology set out to redefine outpatient imaging by streamlining services and creating a welcoming alternative to institutional practices. RTA embraced the challenge to develop an efficient, adaptable design model that delivers a consistent experience across multiple locations while keeping the patient at the heart of every decision.
As Envision’s trusted design partner, RTA provides comprehensive architectural services for each facility. These centers, typically 5,000–7,000 square feet, are thoughtfully planned to include advanced imaging modalities such as MRI (1.5T or 3.0T), CT, X-ray, and ultrasound. Many locations also feature dedicated women’s imaging areas with mammography and bone densitometry (DEXA), along with essential spaces like a radiologist's reading room, welcoming lobby, staff break room, and blood draw area.
The centers prioritize patient needs by including comfortable spaces, imaging rooms with abundant natural light, areas for family, and privacy for patients. The success of these projects and the trust that RTA has developed with this client has led to an ongoing relationship that continues to this day.
