Continuing a longstanding partnership with Bethesda Senior Living, RTA Architects was retained to complete the design of a memory care addition to the existing Bethesda Gardens facility. Through a collaborative design process, RTA worked closely with Bethesda to ensure the new wing seamlessly connects to the existing facility while meeting the unique needs of residents living with memory loss.
The expansion will feature a 28-unit memory care wing, complete with welcoming resident support spaces, inviting dining and living areas, and secure, beautifully landscaped courtyards that provide a safe outdoor environment for clients experiencing the challenges of memory loss. The addition also includes an entry drop-off zone for ease of access and administrative offices to support staff and family needs. Every detail was considered to create a safe, home-like, and comforting environment.
