Through a collaborative design process, RTA worked closely with Bethesda to complete the design of a facility that meets the unique needs of residents living with memory loss.
The new 28-unit memory care facility will occupy a previously vacant lot and is designed to support Bethesda’s mission to serve seniors by enriching their physical, emotional, and spiritual health through a nurturing lifestyle. The new facility will include resident support spaces, administrative offices, kitchen, dining, and living areas that foster community and engagement, and a secure interior courtyard that provides natural light and outdoor access. The entry drop-off zone allows for convenient arrivals and departures.
