The new Vietnamese American International Hospital (VAIH), proposed for construction in Hanoi, has opened doors of opportunity and challenge for RTA’s international design team. We have been tasked by our client to take our years of experience developing hospital facilities in the United States and bring this experience and expertise to Vietnam.

This new facility will provide the very highest level of conventional medicine, equipment and procedures with evidence based eastern medicine and complementary treatments and therapies – that treat the whole person. Project challenges include mamimum utilization of a small site, and the creation of a design which blends “American” and “Integrative Medicine” models of care with the customs, culture, and character of Vietnam.
